Artist Biography:
Stolen is a British graffiti artist originally from Hackney, whose artwork has appeared in London and other locations in Europe. He mixes a combination of stenciling and screen printing techniques with skills in Illustration and Design to provide alternative observations and contextual arrangements of iconic images, Sci-Fi, contemporary and historical art. His particular interest in starwars stems from a childhood obsession with the films, his works personify characters lives after the film by arranging them within the context of the city. His work always aims to seize attention and amuse or bemuse. He produced his first stencil when he was twelve and pasted it on every bin in his local parks he tells us one of the bins still remains. He has an background as a trained architect and is also known for his abstract digital films under the name Visual Vitamin, day to day he runs the design collective Part4.
